Why. An egoic thought. Ah. Instant peace flushes my system and brings me back to the serenity that I have been experiencing for the past month.

In the instant that I recognize my suffering as egoic, I have found it to be easier and easier to release. Let’s tackle a question bigger than the existential thinking that bodes and plagues so many lucky millennials who have spent their lives getting everything they could have ever wanted, and more.

Why is a gift, why is a way to traverse the murky avenues of the egoic mind, why is a trailer you must pull, you must tug up the mountain of enlightenment, it does not leave you and it does not abandon you, no matter how “gifted” or “enlightened” you believe yourself to be. It is simply a caravan that can harvest the fruits of your labors in the form of enlightened parenting, enlightened mathematics, enlightened historical ponderings, or, on the flip side, it can harbor your deepest fears and hanker your darkest failures.

It is a choice, such as we choose our wardrobe every morning and decide what to eat, so too, do we get to decide what thinking we would like to endeavor.

The difference, ah, the difference, because of course enlightened thinking is different than choosing cucumbers or candy. How do we master this “enlightened thinking” and is it real? Well, to call it real is to call a horse fake. You simply cannot stoop to the level of the imagination that the horse is fake. You can see it, you can experience it, you can feel the difference of touching the horse or not touching the horse.

So, too, can you experience the immediate effects of enlightened thinking, such is the immediate effect on your brain, your body, your emotional state and your overall well-being, that when you experience it there is no way you could believe it not to be real.

Unless of course you reside in a mostly egoic state, and then, well, the ego will tell you anything and THAT is what becomes real.

“Yes, it was real in that moment, but you were on LSD, therefore you can only attain that state if you do more psychedelics.”

“Yes, it was real but that was when you were 20, that was before the ‘real world’ hit and you had to ‘grow up’ and pay your bills and have a family.”

The utter amount of bullshit that the ego will feed us that we ACTUALLY BELIEVE is truly incredible. And when you reflect on how illusory, slippery, and utterly manipulative the buggery little ego can be, it’s hard not to garner a sense of intense anger at the illusion that you have come to believe is real, for the majority of your life.

Why would God create such illusions for us? Why would something so manipulative, so tricky, so incredibly FALSE be allowed to exist?

Well, I have an answer. Because it is. It is so because it is so. It does not need a why or a who or a how do we traverse these murky waters on this planet called earth.

We just sit and we breathe, and we observe and we accept. We accept that it is as it is.

There is nothing to be changed, nothing to be immersed in, no hobbies that must be attained and no level of “enlightenment” we must reach before we can breathe. It is as it is. Our breath is our must valuable asset as we channel these alternate dimensions and so we sit, and we breathe. In—-out. In———out. Long breaths, short breaths.

We just sit, and we experience the world for the illusion that it is. We recognize the fears as illusory and the love that emanates from the beingness as life as even realer.

More real.

More tangible.

It is all real in God and yet not real in ego. It is all one in Truth and all divisive in the untruths that permeate those lost souls looking for their way back home.

We breathe. We breathe. We breathe, and we trust that the answers will be provided to us when they are needed and not before.

And so we cultivate the patience that is REQUIRED TO LIVE A PEACEFUL LIFE through the breath.
